Art and Music Show Granville Island

I had the pleasure of showing two pieces of my work at an Art - Music show on Saturday June 13th at The Carousel Theater, on Granville Island. One of these pieces can be seen at ON THE RISE ARTIST COLLECTIVE 2231 Granville Street, Vancouver until the 27th of June. The premise of the show is to showcase the work of local artists and musical perfomers.

There was some wonderful music to be enjoyed, fantastic performances that made a warm summer evening even better.

The backdrop for the music included two of my pieces, both on brushed metal.

The first one titled "Corrugated Shed"

The second one titled "Reaching For The Skies"

10+1 ART Collective In Yaletown During the Month Of June

The above two pieces of my work are on display for purchase at Raw Canvas Gallery, 1046 Hamilton Street, Vancouver during the month of June.

The pieces are titled:

BEE HIVE - 21" x 14"

MAN HIVE - 22" x 24"

Each is a digital print on metal printed with direct UV inks.

The purpose of the collective is to showcase the works of a group of artists, each work depicting the individuals "Concept of Home"

The artists will be in attendance on June 11, 2009 from 6pm to 8pm at the opening night and reception
